We tried it for the first time, and ordered the Arroz de marisquo (Seafood Rice Stew). One plater was enough for two adults and one child age 12 and there was still leftover for at least one more person. really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was really polite. will definitely comeback again. I ended up at this restaurant today because I was craving a pork souvlaki but have been constantly disappointed by anything in Etobicoke. I found it on this site – there were so many over the top reviews that I thought they must be phony. However, once I read the review where someone had an argument with the owner over coleslaw juice getting on their fries and said they’d never go back (but admitted it was the best fish and chips in Toronto) I knew this place must be good. Well I didn’t have the fish and chips but WOW – I had the best pork souvlaki I’ve had in years. The Greek salad was simple with a really fresh dressing. Next time I’ll try the fish and chips for sure. Lire plus

My fave fish and chips place! I've tried tried a couple of places in Toronto but this one for me has been the best. The crowd here generally is seniors. Food and service is great. I always get halibut for fish and chips. They make it nice and crispy, tastes fresh, and not too oily. The chips r fresh and filling. My friends enjoyed the food too when I take them. Lire plus

I eat here when I stay at The Avenue Motel on Dundas. Always freshly made and very hot, the owner is a lovely Russian? lady and very nice. She's always there on her own! The halibut and chips are better than other fish places I've tried and much cheaper. Thank you for your great service and lovely food! Don't buy bottled water here - it tastes like grease lol. My friend had never been to this restaurant and I wanted her to experience it. The food is fabulous. I've never had the fish and chips but if it's as good as the Thai food, it should be excellent. The food is so fresh and tasty. My friend was amazed at how good something as simple as spring rolls and fried wontons could be... and the sauces. I enjoy the less "conventional". The salad rolls are wrapped in large rice noodles and served with peanut sauce. The "Lemon Grass" soup has fresh mushrooms and tomatoes with a selection of chicken, shrimp or fish for $3.99. I choose the shrimp - big, fresh shrimp. In total we spent $11.85 - incredible for such excellent food. I'm taking another friend this week. Lire plus

I was here on a friday night te place is small and most likely family owned BUT the halibut and chips were delicious! The halibut is perfectly crisp and the fries are crisp but not overcooked! i need to have my jerk fix at least once a week and this is the best spot in Mississauga - trust me i've tried everything. don't expect the best service or atmosphere - that's not because they are rude or not nice, just seems like a lot of people are going in and out. Also, a few times they've mixed up my order, so make sure they get it exactly right. I've also noticed a few times they over salted, but that's a few times in the many many times i've been there. I love my spanish empanadas, but these Jamaican Beef empanadas or "Patties"..so they call them are extremely delicious...nice and spicy, the way i like it.. i tried beef and seafood patties and i had to drive back to buy 6 of each for my family to try. i wish they had a "PATTY TIME" store in las vegas. i cannot wait to revisit toronto again just for this food.
